incredibly male dominated. Of course Christian Louboutin, Manolo Blahnik and
Brian Atwood are some of our favorites but we also believe in supporting other
women. In the past few years, more and more female shoe designers have stepped
on the scene and we love it! Here are a few you should get to know!
Monika
Chiang
Monika launched her first collection in Fall 2011.
In addition to shoes and accessories, she also designs clothing. She has
been named one of Harpers Bazaar most promising accessories
designers. “I set about designing this collection to empower any woman to
dress with confidence and feel comfortable, without sacrificing an ounce of

Ruthie
Davis
Ruthie launched her footwear collection in 2006.
Prior to launching the collection, she worked for UGG , Reebook and Tommy
Hilfiger. Challenging convention, Ruthie Davis rewrites the rules
governing modern elegance and glamour – luxurious yet wearable, feminine but
unfussy, modern but never cold, her footwear designs skillfully manage a
combination of refinement and sensuality.

Mellon
Tamara is the co founder of Jimmy Choo and stepped
down from her role with the company in 2011. She is an incredibly
successful entrepreneur and her new collection of shoes is amazing.
She is putting the needs of modern women first, tamara mellon will offer
versatile, seasonless fashion as well as monthly capsules that are specific to
the time of year.

Simmons
Tabitha launched her first shoe collection in 2009.
She is a contributing editor for Vogue™ magazine and a regular contributor to
Dazed and Confused and Another Magazine. She has won the CFDA award for
Accessory design.
