The Coveteur was invited into the home and closets of Kelis. We were treated to awesome photos of her place, which have left me a little green, purple, and turquoise with envy. The singer converted her guest house into a fashion girl’s little slice of heaven, where she has pieces from John Galliano’s first collection and Alexander McQueen’s last. She has decorated my dream home her designer abode in vintage furniture, whimsical pieces, and treasures imported from all over the world. The crème de la crème is the place where she has built her shoe closet over all the walls.
Kelis, who is a Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School graduate, is hosting her own cooking show on The Cooking Network titled “Saucy & Sweet.” The next episode airs March 11th at 8:30pm/EST. She also has a food line that includes sauces, coming to grocery store soon. Her upcoming sixth-studio album titled FOOD will be out on April 22th.
“I did have my closet [custom] built. I would describe my style as emotional and themed.”

“My first ever designer splurge was a pair of pink thigh-high Giuseppe Zanotti boots.”

“I don’t ever want to part with any of my shoes. They all have a special place in my heart because they say something about who you are today.”

When it comes to choosing between food and fashion? Kelis told The Coveteur: “Food – because I can always cook in my stilettos.”
